Shiftara provides a free online file conversion service that allows users to convert files between various formats, including but not limited to:

• Document conversions (PDF to Word, Word to PDF)
• Image conversions (PNG to JPG, JPG to PNG)
• Other file format conversions as made available

3. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

• Only upload files that you own or have permission to convert
• Not upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Not upload content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you upload. Shiftara does not claim any ownership over your content. By uploading files, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process and convert your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Shiftara name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Shiftara. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.

5. File Handling and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's how we handle your files:

• Files are transmitted using HTTPS encryption
• Files are processed on secure servers
• All uploaded and converted files are automatically deleted within 30 minutes
• We do not access, view, or share your file contents
• We do not create backups of user files

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate
• The quality of any converted files will meet your expectations

In no event shall Shiftara be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

7. Service Limitations

To ensure fair usage for all users, the following limitations apply:

• Maximum file size: 20 MB per file
• Rate limiting may be applied to prevent abuse
• Certain file types may not be supported

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
